Summary

Searches the New Relic entity catalog using a specified NRQL-based search query string.

Inputs

• Search Query (required) — The entity search query string to filter catalog entities, e.g., domain IN ('APM') or name LIKE 'my-app'.

Output shape

a list of entities matching the search criteria, each including fields such as name, type, guid, and domain.

Returns an array of entities from the entity catalog that satisfy the search query. Each entity is output as a separate JSON item. Errors from the GraphQL API are thrown as node errors unless 'Continue On Fail' is enabled, in which case error information is included in the output.

Examples

Example 1: Search entities in the catalog with domain 'APM'

Set the resource to 'Entity' and the operation to 'Search Catalog'. Provide the search query string, e.g., 'domain IN ('APM')'.
