Summary

Updates a push app via PUT /push/apps/{appId} with optional name override and arbitrary patch data.

Inputs

• appId (required) — The ID of the push app to update. Used in the API endpoint path.
• appName — Optional name to set on the push app. If provided, it overrides the name field in the patch data.
• appUpdateJson — JSON object containing the fields to patch on the push app. Merged with appName override if supplied.

Returns the API response from Notifique containing the updated push app details. If the API call fails and continueOnFail is enabled, returns a success:false object with error details.

Examples

Example 1: Update only the name of a push app

Set appId to the target app's ID, set appName to the desired name, leave appUpdateJson as the default empty JSON {}

Example 2: Update name and custom fields

Set appId, appName to the new name, and set appUpdateJson to a JSON object like {“endpoint”:“https://example.com”, “enabled”: true}
