Summary

Searches contacts by name and returns matching contact records, ordered alphabetically. The search term is optional; results are capped at 50 by default unless Return All is enabled.

Inputs

• Search Term — Optional name substring to match; the UI describes matching as case-insensitive.
• Return All — When enabled, returns all matching contacts. Defaults to false.
• Limit — Maximum results when Return All is off; defaults to 50 and must be at least 1.

Output shape

A list of contact records, each including contact fields and associated contacts_addresses data.

Results are ordered by name ascending. With no search term, the operation lists contacts subject to the Return All and Limit settings. Each record is emitted as an n8n output item.
