Summary

Create a patient in OpenMRS by POSTing a FHIR Patient resource to the R4 API.

Inputs

• Patient (FHIR JSON) (required) — Full FHIR Patient resource as JSON. The field description says it must include resourceType, name, gender, and birthDate; an example also includes an identifier and phone number.

Output shape

A single item containing the API response for each input item.

Uses the required openMrsApi credentials. The response is returned as JSON and paired with its input item. Invalid JSON or API errors fail the operation unless Continue On Fail is enabled, in which case an error item is returned.
