Summary

Update an existing project in OpenProject by specifying its Project ID and the desired fields to change.

Inputs

• Domain (required) — The OpenProject domain to work with, must be set to 'projects' for this operation.
• Project ID (required) — The ID of the project to update.
• Update Fields — Fields to update on the project, such as Name, Identifier, Description, Public status, Active status, Parent Project ID, and Status ID.

Output shape

The updated project record as returned by the OpenProject API, provided as JSON data.

Returns the updated project data as JSON. Errors will throw unless 'Continue On Fail' is enabled, in which case error details are returned per item.

Examples

Example 1: Update the name and description of a project by providing its ID and new field values.

Set Domain to 'projects', provide the Project ID, and specify desired fields in 'Update Fields' collection such as 'Name' and 'Description'.
