Video → Generate Video

AI-generated

Summary

Generate a new AI-created video from a text prompt, optionally including images and videos as media inputs, and control generation, export, and polling behavior.

Inputs

  • Prompt (required) — Text prompt describing the video to generate (1–2000 characters).
  • Aspect Ratio — Choose output video aspect ratio: Landscape (16:9) or Portrait (9:16). Defaults to Landscape.
  • Images — Optional collection of images specified by URL or base64 with MIME types to include in the video generation input.
  • Videos — Optional collection of video clips specified by URL or base64 with MIME types, duration, and thumbnail URL to inform video generation.
  • Auto-Export — Boolean to automatically trigger MP4 export after video generation.
  • Export Quality — When Auto-Export is true, sets export quality: 720p, 1080p, or 4K.
  • Export Is Public — When Auto-Export is true, sets whether export URL is permanent public share or 24h signed download.
  • Wait for Export — When Auto-Export is true, choose to poll until export is complete before returning.
  • Wait for Agent — When Auto-Export is false, choose to poll the generation job until it completes and return results.
  • Max Poll Time (Seconds) — Maximum time to wait when polling for job or export completion, default 300 seconds.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the generated video job status or completed video export details

If Auto-Export is enabled and Wait for Export is true, the operation returns only after export completes; otherwise, it returns generation job info immediately. Polling times respect Max Poll Time. Errors during generation or export will throw exceptions.

Examples

Example 1: Generate a portrait video with prompt and images, auto-export at 1080p, and wait for export completion

Set Prompt text, Aspect Ratio to 9:16, add Images, enable Auto-Export with 1080p quality, and enable Wait for Export.
