Summary

Update a Pachca message by ID, optionally changing its text, sender display details, attached files, and buttons. Mention text supports @nickname or <@user_id> (automatically converted to @nickname). For multi-guest users, <@user_id> of an employee not accessible to them remains unchanged in the text. The message content supports up to 40,000 bytes in UTF-8 (about 20,000 Cyrillic characters), or up to 27,000 bytes in workspaces with advanced encryption. Custom avatar URLs and display names require a bot access token. Attach files after uploading with File > Create, providing the returned key and metadata. Voice messages require duration and waveform fields, with a maximum duration of 30 minutes (1,800,000 ms), or the API rejects them with 422. Image attachments can include width and height. Button layouts can be none, a single row, multiple rows, or raw JSON; visual layouts support up to 100 buttons, up to 8 per row.

Inputs

• ID (required) — Message ID to update.
• Content — Replacement message text. Supports mentions using @nickname or <@user_id> (automatically converted to @nickname). For a multi-guest, <@user_id> of an employee not accessible to them stays in the text as is. Up to 40,000 bytes in UTF-8, which is about 20,000 Cyrillic characters. In a workspace with advanced encryption — up to 27,000 bytes.
• Display Avatar URL — Custom sender avatar URL; requires a bot access token.
• Display Name — Custom sender display name; requires a bot access token.
• Files — Files to attach. Upload each file first using File > Create, then use the returned key here with name, type, and metadata. Voice message files require duration_ms (milliseconds) and waveform data; a voice message longer than 30 minutes (1,800,000 ms) is rejected with 422. Image files can include width and height.
• Button Layout — Choose no buttons, a single row, multiple rows, or raw JSON. Visual button layouts support up to 100 buttons and 8 per row.
• Buttons — For single-row or multiple-row layouts, provide button labels and either webhook data or a URL.
• Buttons (JSON) — For raw JSON layout, provide an array of button rows. Use [] to remove all buttons.

Output shape

A single updated message record returned by the Pachca API.

The response fields depend on the API response; the node does not simplify this update result.
