Summary

Retrieve a single record by its ID from a PocketBase collection.

Inputs

• collection (required) — The name of the PocketBase collection containing the target record.
• recordId (required) — The unique identifier (ID) of the record to retrieve.
• options.expand — Comma-separated list of relation fields to expand directly within the returned record.

Output shape

a single record

Returns a JSON object containing the record fields along with system fields like id, created, and updated. Expanded relation data is returned inside an expand field if specified.

Example 1: Fetch a user record by ID

Collection: users, Record ID: usr_12345

Example 2: Fetch an article and expand author data

Collection: articles, Record ID: art_67890, Options > Expand: author
