PGVector Store ToolInstall

Summary

Store information in the knowledge base; if updateSimilar is provided, find and update the most similar entry above the similarity threshold, otherwise create a new entry.

Inputs

• collection (required) — Name of the knowledge base collection (partition value)
• distanceMetric — Distance metric for vector similarity (cosine recommended)
• autoGenerateId — When enabled, auto-generates an ID if the AI does not provide one
• rememberIdHint — Example ID format to suggest to the AI when storing entries
• updateThreshold — When updating by concept, only update if similarity is above this threshold (0-1)
• toolDescription — Custom description for the AI (leave empty for auto-generated)

Output shape

Returns 'Stored successfully. ID: ...' on new store, 'Updated entry (similarity: X.XX). ID: ...' on update, 'No existing entry found similar to ...' if no match above threshold, or 'Failed to store: ...' on error.
