Summary

Updates a Planka card by ID, optionally changing its list or board, title, description, position, type, due date and completion status, cover attachment, subscription status, or stopwatch data. The node sends a PATCH request and returns the API response as a single item.

Inputs

• Card ID (required) — ID of the card to update.
• List ID (required) — List ID included in the update request; despite being required in the UI, it is omitted from the request if empty.
• Name (required) — Card title; omitted from the request if empty.
• Position (required) — Sort order (default 65536).
• Description — Card description; omitted if empty.
• Due Date — Card due date; omitted if empty.
• Type — Card type: Project or Story (default Project).
• Board ID — Board ID to move the card to; omitted if empty.
• Cover Attachment ID — Attachment ID to use as the card cover; omitted if empty.
• Is Due Completed — Whether the card’s due date is completed (default false).
• Is Subscribed — Whether to subscribe to the card (default false).
• Stopwatch (JSON) — Stopwatch object as JSON. Invalid JSON is ignored; empty input is omitted.

Output shape

A single item containing the Planka API response for the updated card.

Fields with empty string values are omitted from the PATCH body. Boolean false and numeric zero values are sent.
