Summary

Wait for a specified duration or until a CSS/XPath selector appears on the page.

Inputs

• sessionId (required) — Identifier of the browser session containing the target page.
• waitType — Whether to wait for a fixed time or for a selector to appear.
• waitTime — Number of milliseconds to pause. Only used when waitType is 'time'.
• selector (required) — CSS or XPath selector to wait for. Only used when waitType is 'selector'.

Output shape

object with success: true, and either {type: 'time', ms: number} or {type: 'selector', selector: string} reflecting the wait condition met.

Session ID is required to identify the browser page context. waitType defaults to 'selector'; when set to 'time', waitTime (default 1000 ms) is consumed via page.waitForTimeout. When set to 'selector', the given selector is consumed via page.waitForSelector. The operation blocks workflow progression until the condition is satisfied.
