Summary

Converts a base64‑encoded bytestream into a binary file.

Inputs

• fileContent (required) — Base64‑encoded file content from a previous download operation.
• fileName (required) — Name of the file, e.g., document.pdf.
• mimeType — MIME type of the file (e.g., application/pdf, image/jpeg). Defaults to application/octet-stream.

Output shape

binary

The operation returns the file as binary data with the supplied file name and MIME type.

Examples

Example 1: After downloading a document as base64, use this node to turn it into a binary file that can be passed to other nodes (e.g., Send Email, Save to Disk).

Set File Content to the {{$json[“base64”]}} expression, File Name to invoice.pdf, and MIME Type to application/pdf.
