Summary

Update a Posta webhook endpoint by ID, optionally changing its URL, subscribed events, description, or active status. Sends the selected Update Fields as a PATCH request and returns the API response as n8n item data.

Inputs

• Webhook ID (required) — ID of the webhook endpoint to update.
• Update Fields — Choose any fields to update: URL, subscribed events (such as post.published or post.failed), description, or Is Active. The selected values are sent to the endpoint; Is Active defaults to true when included.

Output shape

One or more n8n items containing the API response, with each item’s response value in json.

If the API response is an array, each element becomes a separate item; otherwise it becomes one item. API errors are raised unless Continue On Fail is enabled.

Example 1: Change a webhook's URL and subscriptions

Set Webhook ID to the target endpoint, then set URL and select the desired Events in Update Fields.
