AI-generatedSummary
Publish a post to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, or TikTok through Postifys. Choose the platform and its connected account, then provide the content and media required for that platform; by default, Postifys publishes asynchronously and returns an ID for checking status later.
Inputs
- Platform and account (required) — Choose Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, or TikTok. Select the corresponding connected Page, account, channel, or Pinterest board; Pinterest requires both an account and board.
- Post format and content — Set the platform-specific format and content: Facebook Feed, Image, Reel, or Story; Instagram Image, Reel, or Story; LinkedIn Text, Image, Video, or Link Preview; or TikTok Direct Post or Send as Draft. Supply the relevant text or caption, title, description, and link fields. YouTube and Pinterest require a title; LinkedIn requires text.
- Media URLs — Provide hosted media URLs for the selected format: media URLs for Instagram and media formats on Facebook; a video URL for YouTube and TikTok; an image URL for Pinterest; and an image or video URL for LinkedIn when that format is selected. Facebook Feed can publish with text alone. Google Drive and Dropbox links cannot be used directly; upload media through Postifys first.
- Platform options — Optional settings include YouTube visibility, tags, category, thumbnail, and subscriber notifications; Pinterest destination link; and Reel collaborators for Facebook and Instagram. TikTok Direct Post requires a creator privacy level and explicit music usage confirmation, and supports comment, duet, stitch, content disclosure, and AI-generated content settings.
- Auto Map Input Fields — Defaults to on. When a configured text, caption, title, or media URL is blank, the node can use common incoming item fields: media URL from serve_url, serveUrl, media_url, mediaUrl, direct_url, or directUrl; text/title from title, caption, current_title, or file_name. When enabled, missing media URLs can be skipped instead of failing, controlled by Skip Item If Media URL Is Missing.
- Post Asynchronously — Defaults to on: return when Postifys accepts the request, with a post ID and status fields. Turn it off to wait for the platform publishing request to complete.
Output shape
One output item per input item, containing a normalized post result or a skipped/continued-failure result.
The normalized result includes success, platform, operation, postId, status, accepted, completion/polling flags, published/failed flags, failure reason, URL, historyId, and the raw Postifys response; progress or collaborator fields may also be present. Async results may still be queued or processing, so use Post > Get Status with the returned ID and platform to retrieve a later status. With missing-media skipping enabled, affected items are returned with skipped: true. If Continue On Fail is enabled, request errors are returned with success: false, error, and code.
