Summary

Creates a post on a selected social media platform via Postzee, supporting scheduling, media attachments, and platform-specific configurations.

Inputs

• type (required) — Type of post: 'draft' saves without publishing, 'schedule' posts at a specific time, 'now' publishes immediately.
• date (required) — Schedule time for the post. When type is 'schedule', this sets the scheduled time; otherwise defaults to current time.
• platform (required) — Social media platform for the post.
• channel (required) — Channel or integration ID. Channels refresh when platform changes; must match selected platform.
• group — Group ID for editing existing posts. Leave empty to auto-generate a group ID for new posts.
• shortLink (required) — Whether to automatically shorten URLs in post content for cleaner appearance and tracking.
• tags — Organizational tags for the post (maximum 3 tags).
• contentItems — Content items comprising text and/or images/videos for the post.

Output shape

The Postzee API response for the created post, wrapped in n8n execution metadata for downstream nodes.

Platform-specific settings (e.g., Instagram post type, LinkedIn carousel, YouTube privacy/tags, TikTok privacy/duet/stitch/comment, Medium title/subtitle/tags, Pinterest board/title/link) appear conditionally based on the selected platform. The date parameter is consumed but only enforced for scheduling; for 'now' or 'draft' types, the current time is used automatically.
