Summary

Retrieve detailed information for a specific Power BI dataset by selecting its workspace (group) and dataset ID.

Inputs

• Group (Workspace) Name or ID — Optional Power BI group (workspace) ID; leave blank to use "My Workspace". Choose from the list or specify an ID using an expression.
• Dataset Name or ID (required) — ID of the dataset to retrieve. Choose from the list or specify an ID using an expression.

Output shape

a single dataset record with detailed information about the specified Power BI dataset

Returns detailed dataset information from the selected workspace. If the group (workspace) ID is left blank, it uses "My Workspace" by default.

Example 1: Retrieve a dataset's details from a specified workspace

Set the 'Group (Workspace) Name or ID' to the workspace of interest and select the target 'Dataset Name or ID' to get its full details.
