Summary

Updates an existing PreRoll.io show by sending only the chosen fields in a PATCH request to /api/v1/shows/{showId}, and returns the updated show record.

Inputs

• showId (required) — UUID of the show to update. It is placed in the request path.
• updateFields — Collection of fields to change. Only the fields you add are sent as the PATCH body. Available fields: name, description, format (interview, narrative, other, panel, solo), schedule (free text), ai_auto_transcribe (boolean), ai_auto_generate (multi-select of description, show_notes, social_instagram, social_linkedin, social_twitter, titles), ai_length (brief, standard, detailed) and ai_tone (casual, energetic, professional).

Output shape

One JSON item per input item, containing the updated show object. The node unwraps the API's data property if present and otherwise returns the whole response.

If updateFields is empty, the body is omitted and the PATCH is sent with no changes. The exact fields in the response depend on the PreRoll API. With Continue On Fail enabled, a failed item returns {error: message} instead of stopping the run.
