Summary

Create a new GitHub issue in a repository

Inputs

• owner (required) — Repository owner. Can be selected from a list, provided as a GitHub URL, or entered as a name.
• repository (required) — Repository name. Can be selected from a list, provided as a GitHub URL, or entered as a name.
• title (required) — The title of the issue
• body — The body of the issue
• labels — Labels to add to the issue (collection of label strings)
• authentication — Authentication method for the GitHub API
• allowUnauthorizedCerts — Whether to accept the response even if SSL certificate validation is not possible
• proxy — HTTP proxy to use for the request
• timeout — Time in ms to wait for the server to send response headers before aborting the request

Output shape

The GitHub API response containing the created issue object (includes id, number, title, body, labels, html_url, etc.)

Batching settings (requestOptions.batching.batchSize, requestOptions.batching.batchInterval) can be configured to throttle requests. SSL certification and proxy settings are passed through to the underlying HTTP request.
