Summary

Lists prompts visible to the authenticated PromptUI user, with optional server-side search and output-modality filtering. Returns each prompt as an n8n item; choose Return All to follow cursor pages or set a maximum result count.

Inputs

  • Search (q) — Searches prompt names and descriptions on the server. Empty by default.
  • Modality (modality) — Filters by output modality: Audio, Image, Text, or Video. Any is the default.
  • Return All (returnAll) — Defaults to false. When enabled, fetches all matching prompts across cursor-paginated pages.
  • Limit (limit) — Maximum number of matching prompts to return when Return All is false; defaults to 50 and must be at least 1.

Output shape

A list of n8n items, one per prompt; each prompt object is in the item's json field.

The operation sends the optional search and modality filters to the PromptUI API. With Return All disabled, it fetches pages as needed and truncates to the configured limit; with Return All enabled, it follows pages until no next cursor remains. Results are limited to prompts visible to the credential's user.
