Summary

Create a new expense record by uploading an invoice image file, providing its content either as a Base64-encoded string or from a binary property of the input item.

Inputs

• Input Type (required) — Select how the invoice image content is provided: as a Base64 string or via a binary property.
• Binary Property — The name of the binary property in the input item holding the file content; used only if Input Type is 'binary'.
• Filename — The filename of the invoice image file (e.g., invoice.pdf). Optional in binary mode; if not set, taken from binary metadata.
• Content (Base64) — The Base64-encoded content of the invoice image file; used only if Input Type is 'base64'.
• Source — Source identifier string for the expense creation, defaulting to 'public_api'.

Output shape

a single new expense record object

The operation returns the created expense data as received from the QUiCK API's /2/expenses/create/ endpoint. The content file must be provided in one of the allowed input formats, and the filename must be specified or recoverable from the binary metadata.
