Overview

This node operation updates an existing coupon in the Salla e-commerce platform. It allows users to modify various coupon attributes such as status, start date, application platform, usage limits, product/category inclusions or exclusions, group coupon settings, and marketing commission details. This operation is useful for managing and adjusting coupon details dynamically to reflect changes in marketing strategies or business rules.

1. Updating the status of a coupon to 'inactive' to temporarily disable it.
2. Changing the usage limit per user to restrict how many times a customer can use the coupon.

Troubleshooting

• Ensure the coupon ID provided exists; otherwise, the update will fail with a resource not found error.
• Validate that numeric fields such as usage limits and amounts are non-negative and logically consistent.
• If updating group coupon fields, ensure all required group fields (group name, count, suffix) are provided when 'Is Group Coupon' is true.
• Check API authentication credentials are valid and have permissions to update coupons.
