Summary

Update an existing listening keyword in your SendIt account with new values for type, platforms, notification settings, and sentiment filter.

Inputs

• Team ID — Optional team scope. Sent as X-Team-ID header when provided.
• Idempotency Key — Optional idempotency key. Sent as Idempotency-Key header when provided.
• Listening Keyword Name or ID (required) — Identifier of the listening keyword to update, selected from existing keywords or specified via expression.
• Keyword Type — Type of the listening keyword such as brand, competitor, custom, hashtag, or product.
• Platforms — Platforms on which to perform listening operations, such as X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
• Notify Email — Enable or disable email notifications for this listening keyword.
• Notify Webhook — Enable or disable webhook notifications for this listening keyword.
• Webhook URL — Webhook URL to receive notifications if webhook notifications are enabled.
• Sentiment Filter — Filter mentions by sentiment: any, negative, neutral, or positive.

Output shape

a single updated listening keyword object

Returns the updated keyword object reflecting changes made. If multiple keywords are processed (e.g., in batch), returns an array of updated keyword objects. Headers Team ID and Idempotency Key are sent if provided for scope and idempotency control.

Examples

Example 1: Update keyword with new keyword type and platforms while enabling email notifications

Provide existing Listening Keyword ID, set Keyword Type to 'competitor', select multiple Platforms, enable Notify Email, and optionally provide Team ID and Idempotency Key headers.
