Summary

Upload a file to a Smartling project and add it to a daily translation job (standard or custom), optionally authorizing the job and specifying a translation workflow.

Inputs

• Project (required) — The Smartling project to which the file will be uploaded and translation requested
• Job Type (required) — Select between a standard daily job or a custom daily job for grouping the translation request
• Job Custom Name Prefix — Custom name prefix for the daily job; used only if Job Type is Custom Daily Job
• Job Reference Number — Reference number for the job; used only if Job Type is Custom Daily Job
• Target Locale Names or IDs (required) — One or more target locales for the translation request
• Authorize Job For Translation (required) — Whether to immediately authorize the job for translation after uploading the file
• Target Language Workflow Name or ID — Workflow to use for translation; only applies if authorizing the job
• Binary Property (required) — Name of the binary property containing the file content to upload
• File URI (required) — Unique file identifier within the project
• File Type — The file type; leave blank for auto-detect

Output shape

a single record with translation job details and file upload status

Returns the translation job UID, name, creation date, reference number, description, due date, target locales, batch UID, file URI, upload status, any upload errors, and the target locale IDs for the uploaded file. Upload may be in progress; no polling is performed by this operation.
