Summary

Update an existing contact by specifying the contact's ID and setting one or more of its fields such as description, email, first name, last name, group ID, or phone number.

Inputs

• Contact ID (required) — The unique identifier of the contact to update.
• Update Fields — One or more contact fields to update, including description, email, first name, last name, group ID, and phone number. Only the provided fields will be updated.

Output shape

a single updated contact record or confirmation response from the SMSAPI service

The operation sends an HTTP PUT request to /contacts/{contactId} with the specified update fields in the body. The actual returned data structure depends on the SMSAPI's response format for successful updates.
