Get TikTok video information

Inputs

• url (required) — The URL of the TikTok video to scrape
• getTranscript — Whether to get the transcript of the video
• region — Region of the proxy. Use 2-letter country codes like US, GB, FR, PH, etc. Sometimes needed for videos from specific regions (e.g., Philippines)
• trim — Whether to get a trimmed response
• timeout — Time in ms to wait for the server to send response headers before aborting the request
• proxy — HTTP proxy to use. If authentication is required it can be defined as follow: http://username:password@myproxy:3128
• allowUnauthorizedCerts — Whether to accept the response even if SSL certificate validation is not possible
• requestOptions — Add options like batching to throttle requests

Output shape

TikTok video metadata and optionally transcript, with response shape determined by the API (trimmed or full based on parameters)

Video info is returned from GET /v2/tiktok/video with query parameters url, get_transcript, region, and trim as configured.
