Summary

Retrieve a PDF version of a specific Sumit document (e.g., Invoice, Receipt) by providing its type and either its Document ID or Document Number.

Inputs

• Document Type (required) — Select the type of document to retrieve as PDF (e.g., Invoice, Receipt, Proforma Invoice).
• Document ID — The unique Sumit document ID for the document to fetch. Required if Document Number is not provided.
• Document Number — An alternative to Document ID; specify the document number to fetch the PDF for.

Output shape

a single JSON object containing the PDF document data or relevant response from the Sumit API

Either Document ID or Document Number should be provided to identify the document. The operation makes a POST request to the endpoint '/accounting/documents/getpdf/' with the parameters. The response contains the document as PDF data within the JSON response.

Example 1: Fetch PDF for an Invoice and Receipt document identified by Document ID

Set Document Type to 'Invoice and Receipt' and provide the Document ID.

Example 2: Fetch PDF for a Receipt document using Document Number

Set Document Type to 'Receipt' and provide the Document Number as alternative to Document ID.
