Summary

Create a new category in a specified Salla store with optional fields for the category's name, parent ID, and status.

Inputs

• Store (required) — Select the Salla store to create the category in.
• Category Fields — Specify the category's attributes including Name (string), Parent ID (string), and Status (active or hidden).

Output shape

A list containing the created category object(s) as JSON.

Returns the newly created category data wrapped in an array. If multiple input items are processed, multiple category objects may be returned. Errors are handled per item based on node settings.

Examples

Example 1: Create a category named 'New Arrivals' with active status in a selected store.

Set the Store parameter to target your store, provide 'New Arrivals' as the Name under Category Fields, and optionally set status to 'Active'.
