Summary

Set the read or unread status of a specified email message in Synology MailPlus legacy APIs.

Inputs

• Message ID (required) — The identifier of the email message to update.
• Read (required) — Boolean flag to mark the message as read (true) or unread (false).
• Extra Params (JSON) — Additional optional parameters as a JSON object to pass to the API.

Output shape

a single JSON object indicating success or failure of the read status update for the message.

Returns the raw response from the Synology MailPlus legacy API call to mark a message as read or unread. Errors will throw exceptions unless 'Continue On Fail' is enabled in the workflow.

Examples

Example 1: Mark an email message as read

Set 'Message ID' to the target email ID and 'Read' to true.

Example 2: Mark an email message as unread

Set 'Message ID' to the target email ID and 'Read' to false.
