Summary

Send a Telegram message of selected type (text, single media, or media group) using a bot token

Inputs

• botToken — Telegram bot token; can be supplied from input JSON (e.g., {{ $json.access_token }})
• sendContentType — Type of content to send: text, media, or mediaGroup
• chatId (required) — Target chat identifier (numeric ID or username)
• text — Message text; only used when sendContentType is text
• replyMarkup — Inline keyboard JSON; optional
• entities — Formatting entities for text; optional
• mediaType — Media kind when sendContentType is media: photo, document, audio, video, voice
• media — File ID or URL for the media; required when sendContentType is media
• mediaCaption — Optional caption for media
• mediaCaptionEntities — Formatting entities for the caption
• mediaGroupItems — Collection of media items (2‑10) for album; each with type, media, optional caption
• mediaGroupCaption — Caption applied to the first item of a media group
• mediaGroupCaptionEntities — Formatting entities for the album caption

Output shape

Telegram message object (or result) per item, or {error: "..."} when failure and continueOnFail enabled

If continueOnFail is disabled, errors are thrown; otherwise the node returns an error object.

Example 1: Send a simple text message

Bot Token = {{ $json.access_token }}; Chat ID = 123456; Text = Hello world; Send Content Type = text

Example 2: Send a photo with caption

Bot Token from input; Chat ID; Media Type = photo; Media = ; Caption = Photo for channel; Send Content Type = media

Example 3: Send a media group (album) of three items

Bot Token; Chat ID; Media Type = mediaGroup; Media Items = [{type:photo,media:},{type:document,media:},{type:video,media:}]; Caption = Album caption; Send Content Type = mediaGroup
