Summary

Creates a new Telegram supergroup chat or channel and returns the created chat object.

Inputs

• title (required) — Title of the new chat or channel.
• description — Chat description; 0-255 characters.
• is_channel (required) — Whether to create a channel (true) or a supergroup (false).

Output shape

a single record (the created chat object)

Returns the full Telegram object for the newly created chat.

Examples

Example 1: Create a public news channel named 'Daily News' with a description.

Title: 'Daily News', Description: 'Breaking news updates', Is Channel?: true

Example 2: Create a private work group named 'Project Alpha' without a description.

Title: 'Project Alpha', Description: (empty), Is Channel?: false
