Summary

Delete a Terraform Cloud workspace by its unique ID, permanently removing it from Terraform Cloud.

Inputs

• Workspace ID (required) — The unique identifier of the workspace to delete; this must be the workspace ID, not the name.

Output shape

A single JSON object confirming deletion including the workspace ID, action performed ('delete'), HTTP status code, and the API response data.

The output is derived from the HTTP DELETE operation response and includes status and any returned data. Errors are thrown for invalid or unsuccessful operations.

Examples

Example 1: Delete a workspace

Provide the workspace ID of the workspace you want to delete. The node will send a DELETE request to Terraform Cloud to remove it. The output will confirm the deletion and provide status details.
