Summary

Upload a video to a specified index by providing a video URL and optionally wait for the processing to complete before continuing.

Inputs

• Index ID (required) — ID of the index to upload the video to.
• Video URL (required) — URL of the video to upload.
• Wait for Completion — Whether to wait for the video processing task to complete before returning. Defaults to true.

Output shape

a JSON object with upload task details including taskId, indexId, provided videoUrl, and status. If waiting for completion, also includes videoId, final status, and a message confirming upload and processing.

If 'Wait for Completion' is true, the node waits synchronously for the upload and processing to finish and returns video information. Otherwise, it returns immediately with a message indicating the upload was initiated and processing is underway.

Examples

Example 1: Uploading a video from a remote URL to a Twelve Labs index, waiting for the upload and processing to complete.

Provide the Index ID and Video URL, set Wait for Completion to true (default). The node returns details including videoId and status once processing finishes.
