Absence → Create

AI-generated

Summary

Creates an absence entry (vacation, sick leave, public holiday, etc.) in Tyme for a user over a given time range, via a POST to the Tyme update_entity endpoint.

Inputs

  • Type (required) — Absence subtype, sent as a number: Vacation (0, default), Sick (1), Other (2), Public Holiday (3), Overtime Compensation (4), Special Leave (5).
  • User ID — ID of the user the absence belongs to. It is always sent in the request, and an empty string is sent if you leave it blank.
  • Start Time (required) — Start date/time. It is converted to UTC and formatted as 'YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss'.
  • End Time (required) — End date/time, converted and formatted the same way as Start Time.
  • Note (required) — Free-text note for the absence.
  • Additional Fields — Optional collection. It currently offers only a custom ID for the absence. If omitted, Tyme auto-generates the ID. The ID cannot be changed after creation.

Output shape

One output item per input item. Its JSON is the response returned by Tyme's update_entity endpoint for the created NonWorkingRecord.

The exact fields of the response come from the Tyme API and are not defined in the node. With Continue On Fail enabled, a failed item returns {error: message} instead of stopping the workflow.
