Unraid

Interact with the Unraid API — manage Docker containers, VMs, array health, disks, notifications, and system metrics

Array → Get Disks

AI-generated

Summary

Lists every disk in the Unraid array (parity, data, and cache) with health, temperature, I/O counters, and filesystem usage, returning one item per disk.

Inputs

  • maxControlLevel — Caps what this node may do (Use Credential Default, Read, Control, Full). It can only narrow the credential's limit. This is a read-only operation, so any level permits it. Default: Use Credential Default.

Output shape

A list of items, one per disk. Parity disks come first, then data disks, then cache disks. Each item has id, idx, name, device, size, status, temp, numReads, numWrites, numErrors, fsSize, fsFree, fsUsed, color, isSpinning and type. Each item also has a role field set to 'parity', 'data' or 'cache'.

Covers only array disks (parities, disks, caches). Use the Disk > Get Many operation for physical disks. If the server returns no disks, no items are output. With Continue On Fail enabled, errors are returned as an item with an error message. Needs the 'unraidApi' credential.

Examples

Example 1: Alert on hot or erroring disks in a scheduled check

Schedule Trigger → Unraid (Resource: Array, Operation: Get Disks) → IF node checking temp above a threshold or numErrors > 0 → notify.

Example 2: Report free space on cache disks only

Unraid Array > Get Disks, then a Filter node on role = cache and use fsFree/fsSize.
