Notification → Get Many

AI-generated

Summary

Lists notifications from an Unraid server (unread, archived, or both), optionally filtered by importance and paginated with limit/offset. Returns one n8n item per notification.

Inputs

  • Type — Which notifications to return: Unread (default), Archived, or All. Unraid has no native 'All' type, so the node queries UNREAD and ARCHIVE separately and concatenates the results.
  • Importance — Filter by Info, Warning, or Alert. Leave as All (empty) to skip the filter.
  • Limit — Max notifications to request (minimum 1, default 50).
  • Offset — Number of notifications to skip, for pagination (minimum 0, default 0).
  • Maximum Control Level — Caps what this node may do; can only narrow the credential's limit. Get Many is a read operation, so any level permits it.

Output shape

A list of items, one per notification, with fields: id, title, subject, description, importance, link, type, timestamp, formattedTimestamp.

When Type is All, limit and offset are applied to each of the two queries separately, so up to 2×Limit items can be returned, with unread items first and archived items after. Returns no items if nothing matches. With Continue On Fail enabled, errors are returned as an item with an 'error' field.

Examples

Example 1: Alert on new unread warnings or alerts on the server

Type: Unread, Importance: Alert, Limit: 20, Offset: 0

Example 2: Page through the full notification history

Type: All, Importance: All, Limit: 50, Offset: 50 (increase for each page)
