Summary

Change the real name (GECOS) of a specified user on the UnrealIRCd server.

Inputs

• Nick (required) — The nickname or UID of the user whose real name is to be changed.
• Real Name (required) — The new real name (GECOS) to assign to the user.
• Redaction Options — Optional settings to redact sensitive information such as IP addresses, email addresses, passwords, or custom patterns from any returned response data.

Output shape

a single JSON object containing operation, success status, and result data describing the outcome of setting the user's real name.

The result data may be redacted based on the selected redaction options if enabled. Errors produce failure status with error messages unless 'Continue On Fail' is enabled.
