Generate a schema from a document or image via Upstage's information-extraction schema-generation API.

Inputs

  • inputType (required) — Select input method. Binary reads from a binary property of the incoming item; URL uses the imageUrl parameter.
  • binaryPropertyName — Name of the binary property containing the file. Shown when inputType is binary.
  • imageUrl — Image URL. Shown when inputType is url.
  • model (required) — Upstage model to use for schema generation.
  • prompt — Optional text instruction to influence schema generation. Shown for Generate Schema operation.
  • returnMode (required) — Determine extent of returned data.

Output shape

Each output item contains a json object and pairedItem referencing the input index. Binary data from the input item is passed through when present.

The returnMode field determines the content of json; all modes return model and usage metadata from the API response.
