Summary

Generate a video from a text prompt using a specified Google Vertex AI video generation model, supporting options for number of videos, duration, aspect ratio, and person generation settings.

Inputs

• Project ID (required) — The Google Cloud Platform project ID
• Model (required) — The ID of the Vertex AI video generation model to use, selected from a filtered list of Veo models or entered manually
• Prompt — A text description of the desired video content
• Return As — Choose whether to receive the generated video as a binary file directly or as a URL for later download
• Options — Additional parameters configuring generation such as number of videos, duration in seconds (model-dependent), aspect ratio (16:9 or 9:16), person generation policy (disallow, allow adult, or allow all), and output binary field name

Output shape

a list of items each containing either binary video data or a URL, depending on the 'Return As' setting

If returning as binary, the output includes prepared binary data representing the video files with the specified output field name. If returning as URL, each item contains a JSON object with a 'url' property pointing to the downloadable video location. The operation waits for the long-running generation request to complete before returning results. Only Veo models are supported for video generation.
