Summary

Crop a region from the image in the configured input binary property. Set its top-left position and crop dimensions; the processed image is returned as binary data, with optional output naming and format settings.

Inputs

• Input Property Name (required) — Binary property containing the source image; defaults to data.
• Width (required) — Crop width in pixels; defaults to 512. Rounded to at least 1 pixel and limited to the image area remaining from Position X.
• Height (required) — Crop height in pixels; defaults to 512. Rounded to at least 1 pixel and limited to the image area remaining from Position Y.
• Position X (required) — Horizontal coordinate of the crop's top-left corner; defaults to 0 and is clamped within the image.
• Position Y (required) — Vertical coordinate of the crop's top-left corner; defaults to 0 and is clamped within the image.
• Output Binary Property Name — Optional binary key for the cropped image. If omitted, the input property is replaced; if provided, it must not be empty.
• File Name — Optional output filename; its extension is set to match the final image format.
• Output Format Override — Choose Inherit Input, AVIF, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, or WebP. Inherit Input is the default.
• Quality — Output quality setting; defaults to 100. GIF encoding does not use this setting.
• Opaque Background Color — Background color used when exporting to formats without alpha support, such as JPEG.

Output shape

One output item per input item, containing the cropped image in binary data.

The item's JSON data is preserved and paired-item metadata links the output to its input. The crop is encoded as PNG internally, then finalized using the inherited or selected output format; the chosen binary property includes updated filename, extension, and MIME type. Requires a readable source image in the configured input binary property.
