Summary

Sends a document from a URL to a WhatsApp chat using Waappa’s /sendFile endpoint. The node adds the configured session and API key to the request and returns the API response as an n8n item.

Inputs

• Chat ID (required) — Recipient phone number or group/channel JID.
• Document URL (required) — URL of the document to send.
• MIME Type (required) — Document MIME type; defaults to application/pdf.
• Filename — Filename sent with the document; defaults to document.pdf.
• Caption — Optional caption for the document.
• Delay (Ms) — Optional wait before the node executes; defaults to 0 milliseconds.

Output shape

One output item per input item, containing the API response in its json field.

If the API response is empty, the item contains { "success": true }. Object responses with a data property are unwrapped; other response values may be wrapped in a data property.
