Summary

Create a new contact or update an existing contact in WANotifier by specifying the WhatsApp number and optional details such as first and last names, subscription status, tags, lists, and custom attributes.

Inputs

• WhatsApp Number (required) — The contact's WhatsApp number with country code (e.g., +919876543210). Identifies the contact uniquely for creation or update.
• First Name — Optional first name of the contact.
• Last Name — Optional last name of the contact.
• Status — Subscription status determining if broadcast notifications are sent to this contact (Subscribed or Unsubscribed). Defaults to Subscribed.
• Tag Names or IDs — Tags to assign to the contact. Choose from a dynamically loaded list or specify IDs via expressions.
• List Names or IDs — Lists to add the contact to. Choose from a dynamically loaded list or specify IDs via expressions.
• Replace Tags & Lists (required) — Determines whether the selected tags and lists replace (Yes) existing ones on the contact or are added in addition to them (No). Defaults to Yes.
• Custom Attributes — Custom key-value attributes to assign to the contact, selected from available contact attributes or specified via expressions.

Output shape

a list of contact records as returned by the WANotifier API, each corresponding to an input item

The operation returns an array of JSON objects representing the created or updated contact details. If multiple items are processed, each response is paired with its original item. On failure and if Continue On Fail is enabled, the output contains an error message for the corresponding item.
