WAX KitInstall

Summary

Generates an action template (ABI-based) for a given WAX smart contract action, so you can see what fields the action expects. The resource handler code is obfuscated and not included in the source pack, so the exact return shape is not verifiable.

Inputs

• endpoint (required) — WAX API endpoint to query. Options: Greymass (default, recommended), EOS Nation, EOSphere, Pink.gg, WAX Sweden, or Custom.
• customEndpoint — Custom WAX API URL. Shown only when endpoint is set to Custom.
• contractName (required) — Account name of the smart contract, e.g. eosio.token or atomicassets.
• actionName (required) — Name of the contract action to build a template for.

Output shape

One output item per input item. The returned JSON is produced by a resource handler not visible in the source pack. It is presumably a template of the action's parameters derived from the contract ABI, but this is not confirmed.

The node requires WAX Kit credentials (waxKitPrivateKeyApi) with a license key, which is validated against Lemon Squeezy and cached. If Continue On Fail is enabled, errors are returned as items with success:false, error, and details. Otherwise the node throws.

Examples

Example 1: Inspect the fields required by the eosio.token transfer action before building a transaction.

Example 2: Look up the template for an AtomicAssets action using a private API node.
