Summary

Create a new Source in Botomat with a specified name and type, optionally providing a destination URL to automatically create a destination for this source.

Inputs

• Name (required) — The unique name for the Source to be created.
• Type (required) — The type of the Source, either 'Webhook' or 'Email'.
• Destination URL (Optional) — An optional URL to automatically create a destination when creating this source.
• Request Options — Optional HTTP request settings including batching parameters, SSL certificate validation toggling, proxy URL, and timeout duration in milliseconds.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the newly created Source, including its properties as returned by the Botomat API

The output includes the created Source data returned by the POST /my/sources endpoint. Request options like batching may affect request execution but do not alter the response shape.

Examples

Example 1: Create a webhook Source named 'OrderWebhook' that automatically creates a destination with a specified URL.

Set Name to 'OrderWebhook', Type to 'Webhook', and Destination URL to the desired destination endpoint.
