AI-generatedSummary
Create a LinkedIn company scrape job by submitting company URLs; optionally wait for completion and retrieve results.
Inputs
- urls (required) — LinkedIn company URLs (linkedin.com/company/name) — one per line or comma-separated
- jobName — Optional name for this job
- waitForCompletion — Whether to wait for the job to finish and return results. WARNING: Holds an n8n worker while polling — use a separate Get node on a schedule for long-running jobs.
- pollInterval — How often to check if the job is done
- maxWait — Maximum time to wait before timing out
- resultLimit — Maximum number of results to fetch after job completion
Output shape
If waitForCompletion is false, returns the job creation response including jobId. If true, returns an array of result objects after polling completes, each containing _jobId, _scraperId, and data. On timeout, returns {jobId, status: 'timeout', message}. On job failure, throws an error.
URLs are split on newlines and commas, validated against allowed domains (linkedin.com), and submitted as inputs to the Weld API endpoint /api/jobs/create.
Examples
Example 1: Immediate job submission without waiting
Set waitForCompletion to false. The node returns the jobId, which can later be used with a Get node to check status and fetch results.
Example 2: Poll for completion with defaults
Set waitForCompletion to true. The node polls every 10 seconds (pollInterval) for up to 300 seconds (maxWait), then returns up to 1000 results (resultLimit).
