Summary

Create a new contact in the HIPE system by providing mandatory and optional personal details and additional metadata.

Inputs

• First Name (required) — First name of the contact
• Last Name — Last name of the contact
• Email — Email of the contact
• External ID — External ID of the contact
• Phone — Phone number of the contact
• Mobile — Mobile phone number of the contact
• Additional Fields — Optional extra fields including collaboration IDs (array of UUIDs), job title, and custom JSON fields

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the created contact record

The output includes all data returned from the HIPE API for the newly created contact. Only one contact is created per execution.

Examples

Example 1: Create a contact with minimal info

Provide at least the Contact's first name; optionally include last name, email, and phone numbers.

Example 2: Create a contact with additional metadata

Include collaboration UUIDs, job title, and custom fields JSON in the Additional Fields collection.
