Summary

Create a Markdown file in Qontext by specifying either its absolute path or an existing parent folder and file name, plus the required content. An occupied path is a conflict and is never overwritten.

Inputs

• Create By — Choose Path (default) or Parent Folder to specify where the file will be created.
• Path (required) — With Path selected, provide an absolute path ending in .md.
• Parent Folder ID (required) — With Parent Folder selected, choose an existing folder by ID or from the list.
• File Name (required) — With Parent Folder selected, provide a file name ending in .md.
• Content (required) — Markdown or plain text for the new file. Very long content may be rejected with a content_too_large error.
• Request Options — Optional request settings: batching, accepting invalid SSL certificates, an HTTP proxy, and timeout.

Output shape

A single API response record for the created file.

The operation sends a POST request to the files endpoint. The response fields are determined by the API; the source does not define a simplified output shape.
