QontextInstall

Summary

Searches Qontext files by the meaning of a required query, returning matching files with the best match first. A few words or a full question work; results include their source files by default.

Inputs

• Query (required) — Words or a question describing what you are looking for.
• Limit — Maximum number of results to return; defaults to 50 and accepts values from 1 to 500.
• Include Sources — Whether to cite the file each result came from; defaults to true.
• Request Options — Optional batching, SSL certificate validation, proxy, and request timeout settings.

Output shape

A list of matching file results, emitted as separate n8n items.

Results are relevance ordered and include file content; source citations are included by default and can be disabled with Include Sources.

Examples

Example 1: Find the refund policy even if it uses different wording

Set Query to “What is the refund policy?” and leave Include Sources enabled to identify each result's file.
