Summary

Retrieve a list of starred projects for a specified GitLab user by user ID or username, optionally filtered and sorted by various query parameters.

Inputs

• user_id (required) — The ID or username of the GitLab user whose starred projects are to be retrieved.
• order_by — Field by which to order returned projects, such as creation date or star count.
• sort — Sort order of returned projects: ascending or descending.
• archived — Filter projects by archived status.
• visibility — Filter projects by visibility status (private, internal, or public).
• search — Search string to match project names or descriptions.
• search_namespaces — Include ancestor namespaces when matching search criteria.
• owned — Limit to projects owned by the authenticated user.

• repository_storage — Filter by repository storage shard (admin only).
• topic — Comma-separated list of topics to filter projects having all specified topics.
• topic_id — Filter by assigned topic ID.
• updated_before — Return projects updated before this ISO8601 datetime.
• updated_after — Return projects updated after this ISO8601 datetime.
• include_pending_delete — Include projects pending deletion (admin only).
• wiki_checksum_failed — Filter projects where wiki checksum failed.
• repository_checksum_failed — Filter projects where repository checksum failed.
• include_hidden — Include hidden projects (admin only).
• marked_for_deletion_on — Filter projects marked for deletion on this date.
• page — Page number for paginated results.
• per_page — Number of items per page for pagination.
• simple — Return simplified project details (ID, URL, name, and path only).
• statistics — Include project statistics in the results.

Output shape

a list of project objects matching the specified filters and belonging to the user's starred projects

The results are paginated and can be controlled with 'page' and 'per_page' parameters. Optional parameters refine and sort the results. The user_id path parameter is required.
