Summary

Retrieve records from a specified SAI360 table in either XML or ZIP format, optionally filtering and customizing the query results.

Inputs

• Table Name or ID (required) — Select the table to retrieve records from, either from a list or via an expression.
• Response Format (required) — Choose the format of the returned data: XML or ZIP.
• Query — Provide a filter expression (excluding the class name) to limit the returned records, using syntax like "label like '*'" or conditions combined with logical operators.
• Options — Configure additional query options including inclusion of metadata, subtypes, workflow information, filtering records published since a given date, and how related records are referenced.

Output shape

a single item containing either a JSON object with an XML string or a binary ZIP file.

If Response Format is 'XML', the returned data is provided as a JSON field named 'data' containing the XML string. If 'ZIP', the data is returned as binary file under the 'data' binary property with filename '.zip'. Filtering and inclusion options affect the query request parameters.

Examples

Example 1: Retrieve all records from the 'Users' table as XML including metadata and workflow info.

Table Name or ID = 'Users', Response Format = 'XML', Options: Include Meta Info and Include Workflow enabled.

Example 2: Retrieve recent records published since 2023-01-01 from 'Assets' table as a ZIP archive.

Table Name or ID = 'Assets', Response Format = 'ZIP', Options: Published Since set to 2023-01-01.
