Feed → Create
AI-generatedSummary
Creates a Streameye feed from a wizard template. Validates the supplied data against the wizard's schema, fills gaps from wizard defaults, and returns the created feed with its data decompressed to JSON.
Inputs
- Wizard ID (wid) (required) — ID of the wizard to build the feed from. The node loads the wizard's schema, default data and supported languages before creating.
- Name (required) — Name of the new feed.
- Language (lang) (required) — Locale such as "en" (default "en"). The operation fails if the wizard lists supported languages and this one isn't among them.
- Data (required) — Feed data as JSON. If an array is given, only the first element is used. It is deep-merged over the wizard's default data, with screens matched by their
snname. Empty values fall back to wizard defaults. - Additional Fields > Looping — Number of loops for the feed (default 2). A value of 0 is omitted from the request.
Output shape
One item per input item, containing the created feed: id, rev, name, wid, type, data (decoded to a JSON object), createdAt and updatedAt.
Before creating, the node makes extra API calls to load the wizard and to look up gallery assets. Asset-picker fields whose value is not an http(s) URL are treated as asset names and looked up in the gallery. A match is replaced with the asset URL. With no match, the field is dropped and the wizard default is used. Validation fails with an error if required fields remain missing or condition-based rules are violated. Execution hints in the output pane report defaulted or resolved fields. With Continue On Fail enabled, errors are returned as {error: message}.
